We took a trip over to a local fire station today with preschool. One of our classmates has an uncle with the department so we got VIP treatment:) The boys thought it was FABULOUS! They got a ride in the truck with sirens, to shoot the hose and a ride down the pole with a fire fighter. Pretty much the coolest morning ever for a 4 year old boy.

That is very cool. We have a neighbour 2 doors down that is a firefighter and they brought the fire truck over to our neighbourhood for a little girls birthday. The kids were so excited.
Wow - with 5 kids I have done numerous field trips to the fire station but NONE of the trips were hands on like that - you bet that would be a little kid's DREAM come true! Bet the mommies enjoyed it too!
That would be pretty sweet. Your children are getting so big. We need to get down there more often.
