Brendan's Graduation from Stetson Law School in St Petersburg, Florida was exciting. Don, Taylor, and I and Gramma and Grampa Bateman from Canada travelled to Florida to celebrate with Brendan and Ally this momentous day. In the pictures, we all look calm, cool and collected but it was SOOOO HOT - the graduation ceremony is taking place outside in a law school courtyard at 9:00 in the morning but it is already HOT and HUMID. (If it was HOT for us, I can't imagine what it was like for the graduates underneath their heavy graduation robes!) After the ceremony and a luncheon at the law school, Ally's family had a gradution party for for both Brendan and David at their home. (Ally's brother David was in the same graduating law class as Brendan.) Another neat part about the ceremony was that Ally's dad was able to present both Brendan and David with their graduation certificates because he is Stetson School Alumni. Bren also received special law school awards for various law school accomplishments. Neat day for all of us!
